This is a 6-hour interactive training divided into two divisions: infant/toddler and preschool modules. Each division has two modules and each module discusses how to promote the social emotional competence of young children. The developmental sequence of social and emotional development and the importance of attachment and building relationships are emphasized. The workshop also covers how to design supportive environments through establishing schedules, routines, and transitions, emotional literacy, and social and emotional development in the context of families.
